Junior College Point Guard Picks Cowboys

Jeff Newberry, who is considered one of the nation’s top junior college point guards, knows that Oklahoma State will be looking for someone to step in to run the team a year from now after Marcus Smart leaves for the NBA. The 6-3, 190-pound thinks he’s the man for the job, and that’s what he told Cowboys head coach Travis Ford late Saturday night when he committed to OSU.
