Mitchell to transfer to Clemson

We reported last week that Vanderbilt freshmen guard Shelton Mitchell had decided to transfer out of the Vanderbilt basketball program due to personal reasons. Mitchell, a former four-star recruit, had been expected to take control of the Vandy backcourt as the season progressed, but instead found himself playing less meaningful minutes due to the emergence of Wade Baldwin and Riley LaChance.
