There’s a long way to go. At every media interaction, Appalachian State Coach Jim Fox reminds us of that. There are only four games down and rough road stretch is coming in December, but that’s not really what Fox means. Fox’s true intent is to say this App team still has a long way to go before they become the team they’re capable of being. But they’ve taken two rapid steps in that direction.
